Every October, the West Side Nut Club organizes and sponsors a mammoth Fall Festival which was named the 2023 Best Fall Festival in the United States by the USA Today.

This is a week-long gala on the west side of Evansville, IN along Franklin Street with free entertainment, carnival attractions, over 130 food booths, amateur talent competitions, and on the the last day, a huge parade.

The event attracts over 200,000 people to the West Side and is considered to be one of the largest street festivals in the United States, only after Mardi Gras, and has the largest half-pot in the United States which in 2023 reached $1,823,320.
